The DiSC ® Classic Profile C-888 is the original Dimensions of Behavior, A Plan to Understand Yourself and Others booklet. It a new look, but the same book. It continues to be used as "A plan to understand yourself and others."
The original DiSC Profile and Dimensions of Behavior provides a way of understanding yourself and others. Based the work of William Moulton Marston (influenced by Carl Jung), the developer of the D.I.S.C. Model. While DISC is not a test, because there are no right or wrong answers it is often referred to as the DISC Test. This four quadrant behavioral personality profile or test (though it is not a test, as there are no right or wrong answers, behavioral styles or types) provides a better understanding of yourself and others. Personal and professional success requires understanding people's model of the world, and realizing the impact of your personal behavior on others. For almost 40 years, the DiSC Classic Profile, Personal Profile System 2800 Series® has been used as a tool to develop and enhance productive communication, rapport, and relationships for almost 50 million people through its "Dimensions of Behavior" learning approach.
The DiSC Classic Profile is a multi-level learning instrument that helps people assess to what degree they utilize each behavior style in a given situation. The report then provides targeted feedback designed to help people and organizations build productive teams and development effective management and leadership.
